My corporate career taught me how to work with all types of leadership styles and prepped me well to start my own business. I can help others assess where they are today and evaluate what they need to achieve their goals. My experience has all been in the business to business marketplace and I can help build a business strategy, evaluate franchising opportunities, and cultivate the culture you want for your business. My background and expertise is in business strategy and planning, marketing and sales, and understanding the human element of business. I have a good 1000 foot view of the world and understand enough about all elements of running a business to be successful while also knowing when to call in the experts. My corporate career had me taking on new challenges and new responsibilities almost every year. I led international teams and launched new products and programs through our channel and key clients. My unique talent was always understanding the client/partner - what it is they really want and then crafting a message to meet that need. Negotiating for a win-win. I decided to start my own business because I wanted to know if I could apply what I had learned to run a business the way I thought it should be run (staying true to my values) and be successful. I chose to do so through a franchise because I did not want to recreate the wheel. I wanted a foundation from which I could build and craft a business of my own. That business is in Rochester NY and while I continue to run the business, I live here in Vermont. I moved here to be with my husband and his three daughters. I love it here and now I want to help other business owners (or aspiring business owners) find their own success.
